An international company with fun team players to develop the projects
Manager Administrative Assistant (Ex-Funcionário) – São Paulo, SP – 21 de Agosto de 2012
I had to assist the manager of the projects during his travels, keep informed the engineering teams with the national and international projects daily, translating their notes in the system, checking expenses, etc. I learned how to recruit engineers and other professionals during the recruitment process for technology field. The management could be better with more stability internally to guide several projects in the same time. My international co-workers from different countries were funny but very professional and effective to discuss the technological problems, budget, etc. The hardest part of the job was to understand the terminology of the optical fibers, and other technical notes from the engineers. Also the hardest time was to have a free time to myself. I didn't like to go for business dinners to negotiate or go to happy hour with all engineers (was mandatory) after working extensive hours, being the only woman in the group. The most enjoyable part of the job was to meet new co-workers coming from different countries and cultures, and also, seeing the progress of the projects phase by phase until their final conclusion.
